ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) or corporate social and environmental responsibility is one of the biggest challenges for business today. It is the approach to ESG that will increasingly determine the reputation of companies and whether potential partners and clients want to work with them. For the PR industry, this is all the more challenging because agencies are not only addressing their own responsible approach to business, but also the behaviour of their clients. That is why PR agency PRAM Cosulting decided to join the Association of Social Responsibility (A-CSR), the largest sustainability and ESG initiative in the Czech Republic.

"We have been involved in the area of sustainability for a long time. In recent years we have organised two seminars and published an eBook. At the same time, we have published several non-financial or sustainability reports for our clients. Therefore, joining the association is the next logical step. At A-CSR we want to continue to focus on education and bringing new trends in sustainability," says Patrik Schober, Managing Partner and founder of PRAM Consulting.

A-CSR is one of the pioneers of the SDGs in the Czech Republic. Since 2017, it has been awarding the prestigious SDGs Awards, a unique award for the implementation of the UN Global Goals in the Czech Republic, which has become a model for other countries. "The media and the marketing industry are now facing a major transformation towards sustainable strategies and non-financial reporting. In addition, the responsibility for communicating the sustainable activities of their clients is shifting to agencies, and this is indeed a difficult but important task. Welcoming PRAM Consulting into our ranks is another signal that the topic of sustainability needs to be dealt with in the media space as a whole." Lucie Mádlová, founder and director of the Association of Corporate Social Responsibility.

In cooperation with the internationally acclaimed CEMS/Master in International Management programme at the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Economics and Forbes Czech Republic, the Association has been comprehensively benchmarking ESG activities, strategies and non-financial reporting of companies in the Czech Republic since 2022 and has created an ESG Rating. PRAM Consulting is the 525th member of A-CSR.
